“A big thank you to Aaron Boyd, who has kindly donated waterproof sleeping bags for the homeless outreach”
Abdul Majid
As we approach the end of 2024 and the next winter season, Aaron Boyd (one of our Directors) has shown his support at Unity Boxing Centre, Rotherham in aid of Homeless outreach.
Aaron had kindly donated water-proof sleeping bags, along with Kaine and Trevor Parker who gave away Gloves, Scarfs and Hats to support people who are affected by homelessness this season.

What is Homeless outreach?
Also known as Street outreach, this is where volunteers will visit people experiencing homelessness directly where they have been sleeping rough. From here, volunteers will engage with these people by checking their immediate health/well-being, providing them with necessary supplies and directing them to access emergency accommodation and services.
What is the aim of Homeless outreach?
The ultimate goal is to help people who are sleeping rough to seek support and help them off the street. Whether this is by providing access to emergency accommodation, donating supplies they may need or simply lending an ear.
