Meet our Directors
Aaron Boyd – Joint Managing Director
Aaron joined Hurst Setter in 2011 and has been a vital member of the team ever since. Aaron was quickly promoted through the ranks, from Senior Regional Adviser to Northern Operations Manager and then into a National Directors role, before taking joint shareholding ownership of the company in May 2017 alongside Darren Goble.
Previous to a career in Health & Safety, Aaron worked in construction as a Formwork Joiner and Scaffolder whilst holding qualifications such as Slinger/Signaller & an NVQ Level 5 in General Construction. This laid the foundations for not only an excellent knowledge of Health & Safety but also a good in-depth knowledge of the industry in which we primarily operate in.

Darren Goble – Joint Managing Director
Darren joined Hurst Setter in 2012 and was quickly moved up through the ranks, from a Senior Area Adviser role to a Director’s role. Darren is instrumental in the running of the company and overseeing and directing all of our Southern Operations. Darren became a joint shareholding owner of the company in May 2017 alongside Aaron, moving on together as a successful partnership to drive the company forward.
Previous to a career in Health & Safety, Darren had a distinguished career in the military. His role included gaining ‘on-the-tools’ experience in construction as an Engineer – again, vital in having an in-depth knowledge of not only Health & Safety but also the construction industry.
