The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) apply to all construction projects in Britain, including all planning, design, management, or other work involved in a project until the end of the construction phase. From commencement and application to general requirements and work involving particular risks, although we cannot undertake the role of Principal Designer, we can assist you (or your design company) in meeting your CDM obligations as CDM Compliance Consultants.
No matter the size or extent of the project, the law requires you to have a Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan. So, if the project involves building, demolition, renovation, maintenance, or structural repair, you need a Construction Phase Plan in place before the construction phase can legally commence. At Hurst Setter, our team of Health and Safety Experts can also help you draw up a Construction Phase Plan to clearly communicate your Health and Safety arrangements, any significant risks, and the site rules with project teams and any other construction workers that could be exposed to avoidable hazards.
